Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Unhumble iPhone app and its pages at clickingnook.com/unhumble and unhumbled.app. Both are operated by Clicking Nook LLC (“we,” “us”), a company based in Oklahoma, USA.

The app

What stays on your iPhone

Your role title, start date, metrics, the counts and amounts you log, your notes and wins, saved bullets, and reminder settings are stored in the app’s own storage on your iPhone. We never receive them. The app doesn’t ask for your name, your employer, or your email. Like other app data, this is included in your iPhone’s own backups; we have no copy.

AI features, and exactly what they send

Two optional features use AI. Nothing is sent until you tap one of them and agree on the screen that explains it.

• Find my metrics sends your role title and the job description you paste.
• Write bullets sends your role title, how long you’ve been in the role, the date range, your totals for that range, the wins you selected, and up to 10 other notes from that range.

The text goes over an encrypted connection to our server (hosted by Convex), which passes it to Anthropic to write the result and returns it to your phone. Our server doesn’t store or log the text. Anthropic processes it under its commercial terms, which say it doesn’t train its models on data sent through its API; it may keep the data for a limited time under its own policies, for example to detect misuse.

Everything else in the app works without AI: role packs replace Find my metrics, and Copy recap gives you your totals and wins as plain text. You can turn AI features off any time in the app under Settings › Privacy › Use AI features. If a job description or note names your company or customers and you’d rather not send that, remove it before you tap.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. There’s no push server, and no one else knows when or whether you log.

What the app doesn’t do

• No account or sign-in.
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking, and no third-party code that collects data.
• No cloud copy of your log, and no sharing with your employer or anyone else. Bullets and recaps go only where you paste them.

The app checks Expo’s update service for bug fixes. That request carries the app version and your iPhone’s platform, not your data. If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports. That sharing is controlled by you and handled by Apple.

The TestFlight beta

TestFlight is run by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. As a tester, Apple may share with us crash reports, the feedback and screenshots you choose to send, and basic tester information, as described in Apple’s TestFlight terms.

Deleting your data

In the app, go to Settings › Delete all data. That removes everything the app stored and returns it to the first screen. Deleting the app does the same.

The website sign-up

If you sign up for Unhumble on this website, we collect:

• Your email address.
• Which app you signed up for, and when.
• An optional referral tag from the link you followed (for example “reddit”), so we know where people hear about us.
• A one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used only to block spam signups. It can’t be turned back into your IP address, and we delete it within about 24 hours.

We use your email to send your TestFlight invite and news about Unhumble’s launch, and nothing else unless you ask. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Sign-ups are stored with Convex, our database provider, and this website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs. We don’t sell or share your email.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete your sign-up email, write to privacy@clickingnook.com. We honor these requests wherever you live. Your work log lives only on your iPhone, so you control it directly there.

Children

Unhumble is for people at work and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has signed up, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

Keeping your log on your iPhone is our main safeguard. AI requests and sign-ups travel over encrypted connections, and sign-ups are stored by our provider with encryption at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect as little as possible so there’s little to lose.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects what the app sends or collects, we’ll say so in the app before it takes effect.
